A comprehensive postmortem examination performed to determine the
cause of death and identify significant disease processes or abnormalities.
Standard Autopsy
- Complete postmortem examination of the animal
- Evaluation and documentation of significant findings
- Written diagnostic report provided by the pathology team
- Histopathology performed when deemed necessary by the pathologist
- Final interpretation integrating postmortem and microscopic findings
