From 2008 to 2018, Dr. Candelario extended her expertise through her work with Ultravet Mobile reading abdominal ultrasound scans for remote patients and providing internal medicine consulting services. In 2019, Dr. Candelario relocated to Westchester County to work with the Internal Medicine team at the Animal Specialty Center in Yonkers, NY.

Her return to Long Island in 2021, marked a significant milestone, as she joined the internal medicine team at Atlantic Coast New York Veterinary Specialist in Farmingdale NY. Dr. Candelario’s expertise, combined with her enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring, naturally led her to academia.  At the Long Island University Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine, she shares her wealth of knowledge with aspiring veterinarians inspiring them to excel in the field of small animal internal medicine.
