Laurie Roberson, M.A. Ed.S

Assistant Dean of Student Affairs

Laurie Roberson is the Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for the College of Veterinary Medicine with more than 30 years of experience in student affairs, educational administration, student leadership programs, student clubs and organizations, clinical programs, and international education. She has held several administrative positions at various institutions in the disciplines of agriculture, journalism & communications, architecture & design, engineering, and with the past 10 years in veterinary medicine. She is the recipient of many awards and honors in higher education.

Roberson earned a B.S. from Oklahoma State University, M.A from Baker University School of Professional and Graduate Studies and an Ed.S. from Tennessee Technological University.

She is a member of the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) and the National Association of Academic Advising (NACADA). Roberson has served as an advisor to the Native American Student Association at three universities and is a Sequoyah Fellow with the American Indian Science & Engineering Society (AISES), Advancing Indigenous People in STEM.
