LIU Post is home to 700 international students from countries around the globe. Here at LIU Post, we have graduated thousands of international students who have gone on to become highly successful professionals in the U.S. and abroad.
Located just 25 miles east of New York City on Long Island’s historic Gold Coast, LIU Post is nestled in a suburb that Business Week called one of the most beautiful in the country. Here, you’ll find a classic college campus right out of a movie—it comes as no surprise that it’s been the location for several recent films and TV shows. LIU Post is close to entertainment, sports, and shopping venues, and is minutes from some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. And the unsurpassed professional and cultural opportunities of New York City are just a short train ride away.
Participate in LIU’s English Language Institute, a program for non-native English speakers that helps you meet university requirements, and develop your skills in conversation, reading, writing, and grammar. LIU provides free tutoring in all areas of study, and ongoing English language support after you complete the program.
