High School Summer Journalism Institute

From July 11-15, 2016, high school students passionate about journalism will be participating in a residential program at LIU Post. During this boot camp for high school reporters, they will learn investigative reporting skills, including how to interview sources, write stories, take pictures, and blog, among other skills. They will work with the college editors of LIU Post’s award winning student newspaper, The Pioneer, and learn from renowned journalists from Newsday, Blank Slate Media, Anton Media Group, among others.
