Community Outreach 


  • Speech and language screenings:
    Screenings are provided at preschools and adult centers. All screenings are administered by graduate  clinicians under the supervision of a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and results are provided at the time of the screening.

  • Parent workshops:
    Parent workshops are provided at no cost on a variety of topics including typical speech/language and feeding development, ways to facilitate language and literacy development. Workshops can be provided at libraries, schools or community centers.

  • Staff development workshops:
    Staff development workshops are provided at no cost on site at community preschools. Topics addressed can include typical speech and language development, when to consider referring a student for an evaluation and ways to facilitate speech and language development in the classroom setting. 

  • Educational programs:
    Educational programs on a variety of topics can be provided at hospitals, rehab centers, schools, libraries and self-help groups.
