Center for Healthy Living


The Center for Healthy Living provides mental health counseling, nutrition counseling, and health services to all Long Island University students.

Long Island University students have access to on-campus mental health counseling services, nutrition counseling, religious and spiritual counseling, and access to teleheath and local in-person health care. The Center has licensed mental health professionals, graduate interns, and nutritionists to provide consultation and support. Medical and mental health-related referrals are made in partnership with Northwell Health - GoHealth.

The Center for Healthy Living is a collaboration of on-campus resources and strong partnerships with local health organizations and professionals, including Northwell Health College Behavioral Health Program, Northwell Health - Go Health, the LIU Post Psychological Services Center, and the LIU Post Nutrition Department.

Information about medical services received, your participation in counseling, or counseling information cannot be released without a written consent authorizing the release of specified information and naming the person(s) to receive the information, unless where law or emergency situations require it.
