Dr. Hubert C. Chua obtained his Doctorate of Pharmacy from the State University of New York and PGY-1 pharmacy practice residency at the Veterans Affairs Western New York Healthcare System in Buffalo, NY. Following this, he completed a two-year infectious diseases pharmacotherapy fellowship at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and University of Houston, both in Houston, TX. During his time he received extensive training in antimicrobial stewardship involving general and transplant patients, conducted clinical and translational research, and began teaching in an academic setting.
