Compensation

Compensation involves the various forms of direct compensation – that is, employees’ pay – that Long Island University uses to attract, reward and retain workers. The Department designs and administers compensation systems including base pay, differential and incentive pay, and overtime. It also handles matters that focus on compensation-related communications, legal and regulatory issues, competitive benchmarking and metrics, as well as effective compensation practices and global compensation issues.
