Dowling-to-LIU Transfer Center

In response to the great number of phone calls from Dowling students, LIU’s Transfer Center is assisting Dowling College students in successfully transferring to LIU campuses to complete their undergraduate or graduate degree. Our experienced admissions and enrollment counselors will work with students on an individual basis in reviewing their academic records, transcripts, financial aid, and scholarships. We will guide you in finding the most efficient way to complete your degree.

Steps to Transfer to LIU

• Complete an application at www.liu.edu/apply Fee Waiver code is: Dowling
• Submit official transcripts from all colleges and universities you have attended. Unofficial and photo copies from Dowling College are accepted. (email to: post-transfer@liu.edu)
• Submit a copy of your Dowling tuition bill and any scholarships or grants you have received (email to: post-transfer@liu.edu)
• Add the LIU college school code 002751 to your 2016-2017 FAFSA at www.fafsa.gov
• Add the LIU TAP code of 0403 to your TAP application (if eligible) at tap.hesc.ny.gov. In order to receive TAP awards, you must submit your official SAT and High School transcript to LIU Post.
• Contact the Dowling-to-LIU Transfer Center to speak with an admissions counselor and academic advisor (516-299-2348 or 516-299-2900)
• Schedule a campus tour at 516-299-2900
