Description
My professional experience is in community and public health nursing focused on preventative health and internal medicine. I have taught Health Assessment lecture and lab, Pharmacology lab, Community simulation, and am currently the lead faculty for Health Assessment. I am currently the Lab Manager of Clinical Education at the Harriet Rothkopf School of Nursing LIU Brooklyn. I manage preparation, breakdown, supplies, and scheduling of all skills labs in the nursing department (over 70 sections). I work closely with the Manager of Simulation to provide educational tools and resources for faculty and students. I plan to further my professional development looking at the standardization of faculty training and orientation. I have presented at both student and faculty orientations introducing the skills and simulation labs and providing lesson templates for new faculty to use.
