Description
Colleen Walsh assists in directing the New York City Teaching Fellows Program, an alternative teacher education program at Long Island University’s Brooklyn Campus. She is also the coordinator of New Teacher Services and teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses in the Teaching and Learning Department at the Campus.
Before coming to Long Island University, Colleen taught middle school in the New York City public schools and taught in an alternative high school in Nassau County, N.Y. She has worked for both nonprofit and for-profit organizations, designing, implementing and evaluating education programs in public schools as a program manager, research associate and consultant.
