Description
Dr. June Lowe believes that nursing is both an art and science and has dedicated her entire nursing career to nursing excellence. She believes that nursing care starts at the client’s birth and continues throughout their life span, and that each client should be treated and managed as in individual. As a nurse she believes that use and knowledge of the nursing process in collaboration with critical thinking skills enable nurses and student nurses alike to deliver high-quality, safe patient care. Dr. Lowe has spent most of her nursing career in the acute care setting working in medical surgical and pediatric nursing at the beginning of her career then in perioperative nursing both as a nurse and educator. She has mentored many students and new graduates who themselves are now mentors and believes that communication and collaboration are key elements to providing effective care.
