Exam Dates


HAVE YOU COMPLETED YOUR COMPUTER LITERACY EXAM?

*SPRING 2021 GRADUATES ARE EXEMPT FROM TAKING THE COMPUTER LITERACY EXAM*

All undergraduate students admitted to LIU Brooklyn are required to demonstrate basic computer skills in each of the following areas prior to graduation: (1) MS Windows, (2) MS Word, (3) Internet/e-mail skills. If you have not done it yet, you can request an appointment to complete the exam either in person or remotely, as the schedule below indicates. There is no fee for the examination.

For Summer 2021, exams are available on Mondays and Tuesdays between 9am and 5pm.

You should then follow these Instructions to take the CLE and you will receive a confirmation email for your exam.

 Steps to Self Enroll (For remote or in-person testing, you must self_enroll in the Testing Center Community in BlackBoard)

The exam has four sections: 1. MS Windows, 2. MS Word, 3. Internet/e-mail and 4. Information/Technological Literacy skills

A passing score of 70% is required for sections 1, 2, 3 only. As a pilot, LIU Brooklyn is also testing technological and information literacy competencies. Scores on these questions are for informational purposes only.
