All motor vehicles and motorcycles that are owned and/or operated by members of the LIU Brentwood community are required to be registered with the university. Students may register their vehicles at the Student Services Office, LIU Building suite 119. There is no charge for this service. Parking permits must be affixed to the left (driver's) side rear window. All motor vehicles without a properly affixed parking permit will be summonsed. Vehicle registration makes it possible for Public Safety to contact you in case of an emergency. For Suffolk County Community College parking rules and regulations click here.
Every student at LIU Brentwood is issued an LIU photo ID card (LIU Card). Students may obtain their LIU Card at the Student Services Office, located in the LIU Building suite 119. At the beginning of each term and at the Orientation program, staff are available to take student ID card pictures. If you lose your card, there is a $10 replacement fee.
