Map of Italy

From the tour itinerary notes...

Venice, "Queen of the Adriatic," is a city built on an archipelago of 117 islands. Its domination was not just maritime but also cultural and artistic, as evidenced in its churches, buildings and museums.

In the morning enjoy a tour on foot with guide of Venice including Doge's Palace, the Bridge of Sighs, and the Rialto Bridge, I Piombi (prison), the Guggenheim Gallery and the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, St. Mark's Square and Cathedral founded in 828 and the clock tower with its famous figures of the Moors.

The afternoon kept free for activities as desired.

The Choir will proceed in the early evening to nearby Meolo to perform a program of varied music in a local church at 9 p.m. in this ancient community, sponsored by the Lambarena Musical Association. 1½ hour program.

Return to hotel after concert.
