Map of Italy

From the tour itinerary notes...

Leave Rome by deluxe motorcoach in the early morning and drive north. Arrive Lucca late in the afternoon.

The ancient city of Lucca, one of the hill towns of Tuscany, is filled with charm and wonderful works of art. Lucca alone would make a whole nation great in artistic terms: its ethereal tree-lined walk along the top of the 16th century wall, 4 kms in all and 12 metres above the ground offering views of the Medieval marble churches, the 14th century houses, Renaissance buildings, the villas, the National Picture Gallery and the sophisticated grace of Lucca.

Upon arriving in Lucca in the late afternoon, the C.W. Post Choir will listen to a performance by a local group, "Il Baluardo Choir." Afterwards the C.W. Post Choir presents its own program of lighter music.

After the concert continue to nearby Florence with accommodations there for 3 nights.
