Professor of Music/Director of Bands

- Direct all aspects of the University Band Program, including conducting Symphonic Band (85 players), Wind Ensemble (20-35 players), and Pep Band (40 players)
- Teach graduate and undergraduate Conducting courses and lessons
- Coordinate the university’s entire Conducting program
- Teach various required and elective Instrumental Music Education courses, including Instrumental Methods, Band Literature, and Marching Band Techniques
- Coordinate all aspects of University Brass Area, including recruiting, scheduling and staffing
- Oversee ongoing recording project of university band ensembles (10 published CDs to date)
- Coordinate and Conduct University Band Performance Tours, both regional and national
- Coordinate and Conduct on-campus Bi-Annual Band Festival, including honor band, composer-in-residence, new commissions, and guest soloists
