Dr. Paul S. Kim releases fourth Messiaen CD. More

On October 11 David Holzman gave a solo piano recital in New York City as part of the Austrian Cultural Forum's Mostly Modern festival. Featured was the music of Karchin, Kreiger, Moravec, Pleskow, Schoenberg, Webern, Wolpe and Zeisl. Here is a New York Times Review of the performance. (Free login required.)
     The preceding Friday, David was John Schaefer's guest on WNYC radio's Soundcheck, discussing topics related to the above recital and performing music by composer Erich Zeisl live on the air. You can listen to the segment here.
