- Board coach for a day excursion
- Arrive at the Chateau of Versailles, political center of France in the 17th century under Louis XIV known as the Sun King

| 9:10 a.m. |
- Enter Chateau through the group entrance. Once inside, proceed to the counter where audio guides are purchased. Afterward visit the Chateau and gardens independently
- Independent lunch in Versailles

| 1:30 p.m. |
- Reboard coach and continue on to Chartres
|
| 2:30 p.m. |
- Arrive in Chartres. Time to visit the Cathedral independently, said to be the greatest Gothic Cathedral in Europe. The church was built in 25 years, an architectural feat in itself. But its claim to fame is the magnificent collection of stained glass windows

| 3:30 p.m. |
- Reassemble at the Chartres Cathedral for setup and rehearsal (in the crypt)
|
| 4:30 p.m. |
- Performance. The Long Island University Choir may perform a late afternoon concert at the Chartres Cathedral
- Walk
to the restaurant

| 7:30 p.m. |
- Board coach for return to Paris following dinner
