| On December 18, 2003, C.W. Post Faculty member Dr. Susan E. Deaver (picture right, above and below) was a guest clinician for the New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education (NYSCAME) for an afternoon session called "Conducting Techniques - a Discovery Clinic." Participating in the clinic were the Syosset High School String Chamber Orchestra and C.W. Post graduate student Catherine Beck (pictured left, above and below.) |

Dr. Deaver is the Music Director and Conductor of the C.W. Post Orchestra as well as the Director of Woodwind Studies, Co-Director of the C.W. Post Flute Ensemble and Co-Director of the C.W. Post Chamber Festival. She holds B.M., M.M. and D.M.A. degrees from Manhattan School of Music.
