M.S. in Corporate Learning and Development (Blended Format)
One-year program offers new career options for educators, advancement for corporate associates
At corporations, non-profits and public agencies, the need to develop and train staff has never been greater. Improving both technical and the softer “professional” skills is critically important to gain a competitive advantage, and represents an exciting new career option for new graduates, corporate associates, or educators.
LIU Post’s 30-credit M.S. in Corporate Learning and Development provides the knowledge needed to enter the field of professional skills development, including such roles as trainer, instructional designer or manager, facilitator, coach, or professional skills consultant.
Schedule for the three summer courses:
EDC 603: August 2, 3, 4 and 9.
EDC 609: August 10, 11, 16 and 17
LIS 630: August 18 and September 6, 7 and 8

PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

BLENDED FORMAT – PART CLASSROOM, PART ONLINE

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS CERTIFICATE
How is this program different? In addition to the traditional skills required to enter the training profession, this program will provide you with a 12-credit Professional Skills Certificate that covers essential skills from the consulting field (i.e., listening, facilitating discussion, managing difficult conversations) that are so critical in the business setting.
COURSE SCHEDULE
The program begins with an intensive, two-week summer term at the LIU Post campus in Brookville, N.Y., followed by online courses through the fall and spring semesters, and finally one more two-week intensive at LIU Post. View course schedule…
