Build Global Brands

Developed in partnership with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association (LIMA), this new program will introduce students to the exciting and vital specialty within the marketing profession as well as give students the opportunity to participate in internships with LIMA members.

Center for Branding & Licensing

LIU Post’s Center for Branding & Licensing is unique in the U.S. and around the globe. Developed in partnership with the International Licensing Industry Merchandisers Association (LIMA), the Center is led by Michael Stone, chairman of Omnicom Group’s Beanstalk licensing agency, and Ira Mayer, former publisher of The Licensing Letter. The Center offers: customized and executive education for licensing professionals worldwide; undergraduate minor degree in Branding & Licensing; internships; research.


Established in Brookville, N.Y. in 2015, is LIU Post's first client paid consulting program. In its first semester, six major projects were completed, which included domestic, in-house, and international assignments. LIU-iQ Consulting is building its reputation of being a highly competitive consulting group. With only 50 students selected to participate in LIU-iQ’s inaugural campaign.

Start-up Incubator

At LIU Post, students don’t have to wait until after graduation to turn their innovative ideas into viable business ventures. The LIU Post Entrepreneurship Lab (eLab) is a new space where students who are driven to be their own boss can access a network of resources and to collaborate, create and strengthen their business ideas. Located in the lower level of the Schwartz Library, the eLab is a modern, collaborative space that harnesses the energy of a tech startup—white boards for brainstorming and inspirational quotes; games to stimulate creative competition; and space to study, relax, and socialize with like-minded aspiring entrepreneurs.
