Eudora version 4.3 or higher is required due to system security
requirements. If you have an earlier version, please Download
and Install the update before proceeding.

Run Eudora Light

Choose the Tools menu

Choose Options...

In the Category box choose Getting Started and enter your
account information. The example below is for Profesor John Doe and his
email account on the Phoenix server.

Real name is your name as you wish it to appear or leave blank.

Return address is your LIU email address or leave blank

Mail Server is your email server, host.liu.edu
-
Login Name is your email username. It is no more than 8 characters
long. (Students can look up their email username in their SIS
profile.)

SMTP Server is your email server, host.liu.edu

Make sure that Allow authentication is checked.

Click OK
Note: Host systems for Student accounts include
brooklyn.liu.edu
and
cwpost.liu.edu Most Faculty and Staff accounts are on
phoenix.liu.edu
