Passwords can be any combination of letters and numbers. Your
password must be a minimum of six characters long and may not
contain any spaces. We recommend that you use lowercase letters
since the host systems are case sensitive. You are encouraged
to change your password frequently.
To change your password, you will need to connect to the internet
using a browser or an Internet Provider (e.g. Internet Explorer,
Netscape, AOL. MSN..)
Connect to http://weboutlook.liu.edu
- Log in to your account (enter your username and password)
- Click on the Options (looks like a note pad with check
marks) Shortcut in the left hand side window
- Scroll down to Password( click change password).
- For Domain name, use liunet
- For account, use: your user id or login name
- Type in old password and new password and retype new password
in confirm new password
- Then click O.K. button
- Then close window if password has successfully been changed.
You may logoff if you have finished with your session.
Your new password goes into effect immediately.
REMEMBER IF YOU FORGET YOUR "PASSWORD",
ON REQUEST, WE CAN RESET IT BACK TO A DEFAULT PASSWORD.
