Paintings by famous American and European artists such as Tito Conti and W. Watson adorn the corridors on the second floor. Mr. Post’s daughter Marjorie Merriweather Post willed her father's art collection to the Smithsonian Institute. The collection was boxed and sent to Washington D.C. after Marjorie’s death in 1973.
