Counselor with StudentThe Academic and Career Planning office, located in Kumble Hall, is a central place for undergraduate students to receive expert advising and assistance with choosing a major and career path, applying transfer credits to a plan of study, understanding degree requirements, preparing a resume and learning successful job search techniques. Our knowledgeable counselors will work with you to explore study abroad and internship opportunities, and act as a referral agent to other campus services and resources.

Admitted Students Should Make an Appointment with an Academic Advisor

Once you have been accepted to LIU Post, the next step is to make an appointment with your Academic Advisor and pay your tuition deposit with the Office of Student Financial Services.

Attend one of our Freshman or Transfer Student Registration events for personalized advisement and on-the-spot registration for classes. Extended office hours are available. Appointments are required and can be made by calling 516-299-2746.
