| At a time when teachers are in growing demand, the Westchester Graduate
Campus of Long Island University can assist students trained in other
fields who wish to become teachers; those who are teachers seeking
a master's degree and/or professional development; and those who come
to us directly from an undergraduate teacher education experience,
but are not yet practicing classroom teachers. Regardless of prior
training, the faculty and staff of the Westchester Graduate Campus
offer personalized advising in a caring and supportive environment.
95% of 2000-2001 program completers have passed the LAST part of the
NYSTCE exam.
