Audio Specifications
OVERVIEW
|
Tilles Center is equipped with a professional audio system which is sufficient for most events at the theatre. Additional equipment can be rented at the producer's expense to augment the system in place when necessary. Please discuss your Audio needs in advance to determine what will work best for you. Although the use of our Audio equipment is included in the rental price of the venue, it is subject to availability and may require you to hire our house sound engineer. There may also be crew costs involved for the setup and take down of any equipment depending on the timing of your event. |
| There are 16 permanently wired microphone lines that run from the sound booth through a breakout patch panel at the house mix position and terminate in standard Cannon female XLR outlets mounted in panels stage left and right. We can easily accommodate setups of up to 10 mics. Larger setups must be coordinated in advance and may require rental of additional equipment. |

INFRARED LISTENING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
|
In compliance with the American Disabilities Act,
both venues at the Tilles Center are
equipped with an infrared assisted listening system. The Recital
Hall is equippend with a SENNHEISER system, while the mainstage
incorporates a WILLIAMS infrared sound transmission system for wireless
reception anywhere in the house seating area. Sound is fed through the
system via a cardiod condenser microphone hung over the stage, and/or a
feed from the mixing console. Our current inventory includes 35 earphone
units and 5 induction loop units. This system was upgraded and
installed in May 2006 in conjunction with
Shadowbox Design Management
and a grant form New York State.
