C.W. Post campus is the home of Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.  The campus itself, sprawling over 300 magnificent acres, is the largest of the campuses that comprise Long Island University. The university is a private, independent college offering degree programs in the liberal arts and numerous professional areas. The enrollment at the C.W. Post campus is approximately 15,000 full and part time students.

Tilles Center serves as the primary cultural resource for the campus and local community by promoting the appearance of professional companies on subscription series, by hosting many of Long Island's major performing arts organizations and by presenting performances, lectures and conferences organized by the student body and campus community.

Concert Hall, the Mainstage at Tilles Center, seats 2242 with excellent sight lines and acoustics at all seat locations. In addition to its function as a concert hall the stage is equipped with an orchestra pit, suitable flooring, a computerized lighting system, masking and a limited rigging system to accommodate dance, opera and theatrical productions. Also available are a large movie screen for showing movies and slides.

Hillwood Recital Hall, which is ideal for chamber music, lectures and small theatrical productions, seats an intimate 499 patrons.
