Overview
Residence Life Mission:
Residence Life strives to create an environment in which students are encouraged to make positive choices regarding their college experience. The mission of the Residence Life program is to provide a safe, comfortable, secure and nurturing living-learning environment that fosters a sense of community and is conducive to students’ academic pursuits. We encourage our resident students to explore all avenues of personal, social and moral issues while coping with life and developing life skills.
Welcome to the Office of Residence Life at C.W. Post!
You couldn’t choose a better place to live! The C.W. Post Campus is recognized as one of the most beautiful and safest college campuses in the country. More than 1,940 students live on campus in traditional residence halls and suites. With ten residence halls tailored to individual needs–from quiet study to semi-private suites–you will be part of an exciting college community that attracts students from all over the world.
We hope your choice to live on campus will provide you with an opportunity for learning. The Office of Residence Life views the community within the residence halls as an important part of your personal growth, college education, and experience. We provide a carefully selected, trained and supervised student and professional staff to assist you by organizing educational, cultural, social, and recreational programs.
Our staff will also support you in becoming familiar with the rich and diverse resources of our campus. Our goal is to encourage you to take maximum advantage of the learning process: to develop self-discipline, to help you make responsible decisions and to take advantage of unique experiences on our campus. From the moment you move into your room, you will become a part of a community that cares for you as an individual.
Thank you for your interest in living on our campus. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
Jessica Hayes, Ed. D.
