Computer Scientist is Featured Columnist in Tech Group's Newsletter
Dwight Peltzer, director of the Institute for Advanced Technology
in Systems Interoperability at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island
University, is sharing his knowledge of how computer systems can
work together through a regular column in a technology group's monthly
newsletter.
The Long Island chapter of the Association for Information Technology
Professionals has invited Peltzer to submit a regular column to
its newsletter. The first installment of ".Net Corner"
appeared in the September 2006 issue. He is also featured in the
publication's "Meet the Membership" column.
Peltzer is the founder of the Institute for Advanced Technology
in Systems Interoperability in the College of Information and Computer
Science at C.W. Post, which provides corporations with onsite and
online training in merging new technologies to achieve compatibility
among different operating systems. He has written several books,
including the groundbreaking "NET & J2EE Interoperability,"
which explores interoperability between Microsoft's .NET technology
and Sun Microsystems' Java 2 Enterprise Edition. He is also a speaker
on XML, XSLT, Xpath, XHTML, programming in C# .Net, Visual C++,
SQL Server 2005, and Java 2 Enterprise Edition.
The College of Information and Computer Science at the C.W. Post
Campus of Long Island University offers undergraduate and graduate
degrees in computer science, library and information science, information
management and technology, information systems, information studies,
