Back to School 2006

More than 7,300 undergraduate and graduate students began classes on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville. This class includes 1,112 freshman, which is the largest freshman class in more than 25 years.

The residence halls are filled to capacity with almost 2,000 students.

Here, students gather outside Humanities Hall at 12:30 p.m. on the second day of classes.
