C.W. Post Homecoming and Family Day Celebration October 14

The C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University in Brookville invites the public to celebrate its annual Homecoming and Family Day with autumn activities and a barbecue on Saturday, October 14, 2006. The football game kicks off at 12 noon at Hickox Field with the C.W. Post Pioneers versus Bentley College.

The Fall Festival and Tailgate Tent Party, held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., will feature festivities for all ages. Children will be delighted by amusement park rides, ponies, a petting zoo and clowns. Older children can partake in sand art, pumpkin painting and a carnival of campus organizations. The C.W. Post PEP Band will entertain guests as they enjoy an array of hearty fall foods. Admission to the barbecue, which includes the football game and activities is $15 for adults; $7 for children under 8 years of age and free for children 3 and under. This is a great opportunity to meet with fellow alumni, neighbors and to cheer on the C.W. Post Pioneers!
