Online M.B.A. Class Now Available

Currently enrolled C.W. Post students in the M.B.A. program can register for a new online elective course in "Money, Banking and Capital Markets." The 3-credit graduate course (FIN725-1), taught by Professor George Andreadis, begins September 5, 2006. Students may enroll if they have completed their core courses.

Students can engage in discussions with the professor and fellow students and complete weekly assignments and exams from any computer that has Internet access. The course gives you the flexibility to participate any time of the day or night, whatever is convenient for you. The course runs from September 5 to December 18. No campus visit is required. Registration can be completed in-person or by fax.

The course will enable students to analyze and understand the principal forces that shape domestic and global money and capital markets. Course highlights include: money creation, demand, relation of money to inflation and financial flows, interest rate behavior (in the context of portfolio choices), as well as the changing role of competitive financial institutions and the effects these changes have on the flow of funds and monetary policy.

For more information, call the Master of Business Administration Academic Advisement Office at (516) 299-2100 or e-mail campusmba@cwpost.liu.edu.

Details and information about other online M.B.A. courses will be announced later in the academic year.
