Tilles Center Renovations
Continue
On July 20, 2004 officials from the C.W. Post Campus
of Long Island University surveyed the progress of renovations to
Tilles Center for the Performing Arts. This renovation, the first
since the center opened in 1981, will give an entirely fresh and
modern look to Long Islands premier cultural showplace. The
renovation will include an atrium, outdoor plazas, an elegant entry
as well as improved access to and from parking areas, especially
for handicapped patrons.
The project has been designed by Mitchell/Giurgola
Architects and the construction manager and contractors are Sullivan
& Nickel Construction Company, based in Ronkonkoma.
