Tutor Responsibilities

Follow all school and University policies

Act and dress professionally

Be a good role model

Show respect for staff and students at the schools

Develop literacy skills and a positive attitude toward learning with each tutee

Meet each tutee for 30 (30-35 minute) sessions as scheduled in the classroom under supervision of the teacher

Maintain records for each session as to meeting time, date, materials, observations, improvement

Prepare and turn in signed hour time sheets to site coordinator bi-monthly

Participate in seminars

Prepare assignments as directed
