Overview of C.W. Post M.B.A. Programs The College of Management at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University offers a flexible, feature-rich M.B.A. program portfolio that well supports the wide-ranging individual interests and career objectives of our students. The M.B.A. is the gold standard of business education, and confers significant advantages to those who earn it. In recognition of the superb quality of the business education offered, all of the College of Management’s M.B.A. programs and business programs are accredited by AACSB International. Our curriculum is evaluated regularly and revised to strengthen the value of our programs to our students while reducing the time and tuition required to earn an M.B.A. New courses and updated materials have been incorporated into the course of study, and innovative additions such as on-line courses are in the beginning stages. Schedules are designed to accommodate evening and Saturday classes, and students are able to select the options best suited to their personal requirements. The program has been streamlined to 48 credits, and qualified students may be eligible to take as few as 36 credits to earn their M.B.A. We foster a personalized, student-friendly environment that recognizes the needs of our students to balance their professional careers, educational and personal responsibilities – it is the hallmark of the M.B.A. programs at C.W. Students may pursue a broadly based general M.B.A. or can opt to specialize in any of the key managerial disciplines. We offer a Personal Enrichment Program that permits students who have not yet completed all application requirements to register for up to two Core courses while they complete the requirements. The expertise and experience of our world-class faculty provide significant advantages to our students. Their scholarship is extensively published in leading professional and academic journals and business periodicals, and adds material depth to the teaching they present. Our faculty is student-accessible and is recognized for providing a thoughtful and rewarding learning experience. All M.B.A. programs at C.W. All M.B.A. programs are supported by a dedicated, professional M.B.A. Advisement Staff who personally attends to students’ needs. We feature small, intimate classes in networked smart classrooms that promote an individualized learning experience. The B. Davis Schwartz Memorial Library has a large and diverse collection with over 2.3 million volumes and more than 5,000 periodicals and newspapers to support student and faculty research. We offer Placement Services to ensure that our graduates identify and secure attractive employment opportunities. An extensive Graduate Assistantship program affords opportunities to either work with our faculty in advanced professional research or to hone managerial skills by working with university administrators.
