Super Size Me
Thursday, February 3rd
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hillwood Commons Cinema

Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock examines the ethics of food advertising, school lunch programs, and nutritional education while filming himself living exclusively on a diet of McDonald's for an entire month. Amusing, but often disturbing, Super Size Me asks fundamental questions concerning the relationship between individual and corporate responsibility and its connection to our physical health and psychological well-being.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Tuesday, March 8th
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hillwood Commons Cinema

When Joel discovers that his girlfriend, Clementine, has had all memory of him or their troubled relationship erased from her mind, he contacts the inventor of the process and undergoes the same procedure. What follows is a meditation upon the relationship between memory, ethics, and human emotion.

Farmingville
Thursday, March 31st
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hillwood Commons Cinema

Focusing on the influx of largely illegal Mexican immigrant laborers to the town of Farmingville, Long Island and the hate-based attempted murders of two Mexican day laborers, Farmingville presents a thought-provoking examination of America's legacy of racism and xenophobia while engaging the national controversy concerning illegal immigration and the exploitation of immigrants as sources of cheap labor.

The Corporation
Thursday, April 14th
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Hillwood Commons Cinema

Through four case studies drawn from the world of corporate activity, The Corporation examines the moral and psychological impact of the social and economic institution known as the corporation. In the mid 1800's, the corporation gained the legal status of person. To assess the personality of this entity, the film utilizes the diagnostic criteria of the World Health Organization and the DSM-IV, the standard diagnostic tool of psychiatrists and psychologists.
