Geography Professor Creates Virtual 3-D Map of Campus

 
 
The Department of Earth and Environmental Science at C.W. Post offers undergraduate degrees in Geography and Geology and interdisciplinary studies in Earth System Science and Environmental Science. A Master of Science Degree in Environmental Studies with concentrations in Environmental Science and Environmental Management is offered under the Graduate Program in Environmental Studies. In addition, a Master's Degree in Earth Science Education is administered jointly with the School of Education.

A variety of opportunities are available for students to participate in clubs, special events, and field trips. The department has a chapter of Sigma Gamma Epsilon, the national Earth Science Honor Society, and members may submit original work to its national publication.
