The Japanese Economy
Spring 1998

PURPOSE: This course is an introduction to the Japanese economy. Among the topics to be discussed are the economic history of Japan, the Japanese corporation, the Japanese management system, the industrial policy of Japan, Japan's international trade, U.S.-Japan economic relations, etc.
