Radio Station WCWP/Abrams Communication Center
Campus radio station WCWP 88.1 FM has been in operation for more than 30 years. It is used as both a training facility for future broadcast professionals and as an outlet for new music. Music and news are also broadcast on WebRadio WCWP at www.liu.edu/wcwp. WCWP and its sister station, WLIU 88.3 FM at Southampton College, are part of the Long Island University Public Radio Network. Together, these stations offer public radio services such as National Public Radio, Monitor Radio, and BBC World Service Overnight.
