"Lord of the Rings" Star Visits C.W. Post

Congressman Steve Israel hosted a private filming of the "Lord of the Rings" followed by a question and answer session with actor Sean Astin (son of Patty Duke), who played the hobbit, Sam Gamgee, in this Oscar-winning movie. The film was shown at the C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University on March 28 to children of military personnel deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as C.W. Post students majoring in acting and film.
