Members of the C.W. Post Campus community honored Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at a remembrance dinner on January 23, 2006. C.W. Post faculty, staff and students shared their personal reflections on the historical impact of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The event was co-sponsored by the Division of Student Affairs and the Student Affairs-Faculty Partnership Initiative Committee. Members of the community were welcomed by Associate Provost for Student Affairs, Dr. Sherri Coe-Perkins. Among the speakers were Sociology Professor Eric Lichten; Earth and Environmental Science Professor Scott Carlin; Criminal Justice Professor Sean Grennan; Honors Program Director and English Professor Joan Digby; Media Arts Professor Dorothy Reed; Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholar and Theatre major Eda Bruce.
