The
Interfaith Center is a large silver-domed building with a pillared
front entrance. The foyer is marble and there are two winding staircases
that lead to the Chapel, which is on the second floor of the building
and is handicapped accessible. The Chapel itself is a large room
with a small stage/altar that can be used for ceremonies of any
denomination. The Interfaith Center's Chapel is the perfect setting
for a wedding.
The Center is
interfaith and non-denominational. Upon reserving the Interfaith
Chapel for a wedding, the bride/groom are entitled to one hour in
the Chapel for the wedding ceremony and one hour in C.W. Post's
Formal Gardens for pictures. Standard seating is for 175 attendees
and a maximum of 250 attendees. The Interfaith Center is furnished
with an organ and piano for your use, upon request. A musician is
not included. Rehearsals can be scheduled at least two weeks in
advance and are based on availability.
Any additional
services, for example, clergy, decorations, flowers and music, must
be provided by the bride/groom. All of these have their own fees
and are not included in the Interfaith Center rental fee.
