WELCOME TO THE CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT

ABOUT OUR DEPARTMENT
The Chemistry Department offers a comprehensive liberal arts program leading to either a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in chemistry.  The department also offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Adolescence Education: Chemistry (Grades 7-12)Along with the Department of Biomedical Sciences, School of Health Professions and Nursing, the Chemistry Department offers a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Forensic Science.

The Chemistry Department offers its students first class research and teaching in small classes. The Chemistry Department has seven full-time faculty members, all of whom hold doctoral degrees in Chemistry and are active in research.  In addition, several adjunct faculty teach some of our courses.  Click here for contact information for the department, its faculty and its undergraduate advisor. 


In addition to the day courses, a full program is offered in the evening for the convenience of part-time students.  Transfer students are welcome and given full credit for approved courses taken at accredited schools.
