Undergraduate - Instructions
 
All Applicants
  • Complete the enclosed Application for Undergraduate Admission if you are a citizen of the United States or permanent resident.

  • Attach a non-refundable check or money order for $30 to the front of the application form. Make check payable to C.W. Post Campus of Long Island University. Be sure to include applicant's Social Security number on check.

 

Freshman Candidates

Bring Freshman Applicant Secondary School Report, application, supporting documents, if any, and application fee to your guidance office.

Ask your counselor to:

  • complete Freshman Applicant Secondary School Report
  • prepare recommendation
  • prepare high school transcripts (should include SAT/ACT scores) and/or evidence of completion of high school studies
  • mail application and all related materials to the C.W. Post Admissions Office

 

Transfer Candidates

  • Submit application materials to C.W. Post Admissions Office.

  • Contact Registrar's Office at all previous institutions to have your transcripts sent to the C.W. Post Admissions Office.

  • If you have fewer than 24 college credits and/or have been out of high school for less than five (5) years, you may be asked to submit secondary school records.

Candidates for Readmission to C.W. Post

  • Mail completed application to the C.W. Post Admissions Office.

  • If you were not in good academic standing when you last attended C.W. Post, you must have the written recommendation for readmission of your chosen department's chairperson sent to the C.W. Post Admissions Office.

  • If you have been out of attendance for several years you may be required to re-submit credentials. Please contact the C.W. Post Admissions Office to discuss your status.

Visiting Students

  • Mail this application and a letter of permission from your current college or university to the C.W. Post Admissions Office.
