| Where
Can You Go? |
| |
| C.W. Post is affiliated with nearly a dozen foreign
study programs. Students receive direct credit for courses--not transfer
credit, and can apply most of their financial aid toward program
costs, as if attending their home institution. For most affiliated
programs, Long Island University tuition will cover tuition abroad; room and board fees
will vary according to the program.
Some of
Our Programs Include
- Regent's
College, London
Regent's College offers a full range of courses for students wishing
to spend a year, semester or summer abroad. Students live on
campus which is located in beautiful Regent's Park, in the heart
of London. Regent's takes pride in attracting a diverse international
student body and in providing individualized and personal attention.
Students are encouraged to explore London and to take advantage
of opportunities to travel in the United Kingdom as well as in
Europe.
- Friends
World Program
Long Island University is the host institution for the acclaimed
Friends World Program, which has study centers in Turkey, Thailand,
India, Japan, People's Republic of China, Costa Rica and Taiwan.
Each regional program provides an intensive survey of the customs,
history, politics, culture, ecology and economy of the area. Students
take essential language courses and may choose an independent
study project to explore a topic in depth.
- L.I.U.
Australia Program
Through this environmentally focused program, students spend
a full semester studying Australia through extended travel, field
trips, site visits, independent research, classroom lectures and
hands-on experience. Students live in Byron Bay, a small beach
town in the northern subtropical region of New South Wales.
