
The Relationship Between Long Island University
and Kyonggi University In 1992, Kyonggi University embarked upon an ambitious program to increase its international focus, and hone the skills of its professors and students through international exchange. Noting Long Island University's track record and strong ties to Korea, Dr. Jong-Kook Sohn, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Kyonggi, and the university's president, Dr. No-woo Park, strongly supported the idea of establishing a sister relationship between the two universities.
