Welcome to the LIU Brooklyn Application page!

Applications for admission to LIU Brooklyn require a $40 non-refundable application fee and may be submitted by one of the methods listed below.

Please note:
Applicants of LIU Brooklyn are only eligible to apply to one program of interest for an upcoming semester at a time.

If you have already applied and wish to change your program of interest or term of entry please contact the Office of Admissions.

• Other Applicants
  
  - Visiting Student Application. For students who are interested in applying as a visiting (non-matriculated) student and meet the following criteria: earned a degree from or attending another accredited college or university; remain in good academic standing. Please visit the Readmissions/Visiting Students page for more information.
  
  - Re-Admit Application. Students who have previously attended LIU Brooklyn and wish to return. Please visit the Readmissions/Visiting Students page for more information.
  
  - Adult Degree Completion Application. Adult students who are interested in going back to school to earn or complete a degree, for professional credential development or personal enrichment. Please visit the Adult Degree Completion page for more information.

Application Fee Instructions

You may submit the required $40 non-refundable application fee via check or money order (no cash accepted) made payable to Long Island University. To ensure your payment is attributed to your record, please send it along with the Student Credential Cover Sheet in your application credential package.

If you are experiencing financial hardship and wish to waive the application fee you may complete LIU Brooklyn's Application Fee Waiver Request form for submission along with your application credentials. We will also accept College Board and NACAC  fee waiver forms .

The application fee (or application fee waiver request) will be required before any review of your credentials can be initiated.
